Our Daily Manna Devotional October 3 2017

The word “recover” means to obtain again something that has been lost, or to return something to a normal condition. It connotes the restoration or return to a normal condition of something after a damage or loss has been incurred. Simply put, in the eyes of God, recovery means to bring something back to it’s original condition or owner.

Hear this: God is set to recover and restore certain matters and things that have been lost, misused or corrupted to their original state, condition or owners in Jesus name. Verse 1 and 2 of today’s scripture says “And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; And had taken the women , sons and daughters captives that were therein; they slew not any.”

Note: they came to ZIKLAG- a place of great distress and loss, ON THE THIRD DAY.The third day was a day of pain, sorrow, tears and regret in David’s life in the Calendar of God was the day of RESTORATION AND RECOVERY. GOD IS A GOD OF OVERNIGHT INTERVENTION. Watch this! When the Blood of Jesus (the Blood of Recovery) touched the earth, day became thick darkness( Matt. 27:45). The children of Israel
